Membership
is open to all patients with Parkinson’s
disease, care-givers of patients with
Parkinson’s disease, healthcare
professionals and volunteers interested
in Parkinson’s disease. As a
member of the Society, you will enjoy
the following:

Access to educational material
- Information on support groups, symposia,
public forums and other meetings
- Reduced or waived registration fees
at meetings organized by the Society
- Participation at outings, get-togethers
and other programmes organized by the
Society
- Financial assistance (from the Society’s
welfare fund, subject to the approval
of the welfare committee)
- Loan of assistive equipment (e.g.
wheelchairs)

Ordinary
Membership
Annual
membership fees are due in January of
each year. The details are as follows:
Ordinary
Member - $30 per calendar year
Ordinary Member - $15 per calendar
year (for senior citizen aged 60 and
above / full-time students)
Life
Membership
All
members are strongly encouraged to
sign up as a Life Member to avoid
the need for yearly payments. Registration
fee for life membership is a one-time
payment of $200. Senior citizens, aged 60 and
above, may pay a reduced fee of $150 for life
membership.
Corporate
Membership
Companies
and organizations wishing to support
the Society may contribute a one-time
payment of $1,000 to be a corporate
member.

Donations
The
Parkinson’s Disease Society
is a member of the National Council
of Social Services. Most of its income
is derived from voluntary donations
and fund raising activities. Funds
are required to help fulfill the educational
objectives of the Society as well
as to sustain the Society’s
Welfare Fund. Organisations or individuals
who would like to make contributions
to the society should make the cheque
payable to:
